I wanted to take a moment to thank you for being here. Here reading my blog, and here — like, on this Earth at this time, doing your best to be YOU. I really believe that is our ultimate task in life.
I've poured my heart and soul into every aspect of sharing my perspective on living a life of fulfilment through healing & awareness and it means a lot to have your attention, support and presence.
In the winter of 2018, I decided to get certified in Emotional Polarity Technique™
This consisted of multiple week-long, in-person trainings, additional online course follow up, passing tests and 100 hours of in-person sessions. (At that time, virtual or remote sessions weren't common, nor were they accepted as part of certification in the program.)
It was beautiful and intense, especially because I had just moved to Colorado and didn't know people here! 😳 Who the heck was going to let me practice on them?
“Hi, do you have trauma? Are you stuck in your life? Do you experience depression or anxiety? Great — let's hop into your oh-so-sensitive psyche together and clear some of that sh*t up, shall we?”
Thankfully I found willing participants, many who shared my work with their loved ones and some of which who are still on this email list — hi 🙏! But it took A LOT of getting out of my comfort zone to find them. Eventually, my practice began to grow and I was ready to step into this work full-time!
Then, the pandemic hit… and EVERYTHING went digital (as you know).
When I first started practicing and sharing about EPT™ I naively thought that it would catch on like wildfire. (Not slow and steady...)
Truly. I imagined myself on all the cool podcasts talking about this amazing modality, the art of forgiveness and spreading the good word about how you can transform in a deeply aligned way. EPT™ is the coolest. It's the most compassionate form of healing I've known and experienced. And it actually works. (An obvious recipe for success, duh!)
But, alas that hasn't been the case over here. Instead of #manifesting my wild, and if I'm being honest here, overnight success, as I hoped — I witnessed and experienced a lot of weird stuff online coming from peers and mentors in the spiritual healing and coaching space, which curbed my appetite for the “kind” of success I thought I was after. (Maybe you know what I'm referring to here.)
It was a blessing, of course. It made me rethink everything about how I show up in this space, what I hold to be true and sacred and how to be (and stay) in my personal integrity… even when mentors, coaches and much of the online business advice was instructing me to do otherwise.
Life has different plans for how this will grow and operate, and you know what – I'm here for it. I don't know the “how,” I don't know what it will look like, but I'm game.
Someone once said to me “Beth, slow and steady is steady and fast.” Periodically that little motto will pop up into the forefront of my mind, reminding me that I can move at the pace that is designed for me, in each moment, with integrity and grace — not the pace I get caught up thinking I'm supposed to go.
Have you ever had a dream that didn't pan out the way you thought it would?
Maybe it's for a better, more authentic experience of life? I now know enough to know that I don't know. 🤷♀️ I can't predict or explain the mysteries of Life.
For me, instead of focusing on what hasn't happened, I began focusing on what has and IS happening. I am currently seeing EPT™ clients on Mondays and Fridays only. My books are 80% full and I've been drafted to support another company in its growth and development. Overall, I am feeling… utilized. Full. Purpose-led, challenged and inspired. I'm grateful and I'm in trust with Life. I'm in my lane.
Well, that's how I feel today. 🙃 Who knows how I'll feel tomorrow about it all. Haha, that trust and gratitude mentioned above is definitely a practice!
A Million Times, Thank You & A New Opportunity for 15% Off
Thank you, for supporting my healing practice. By being here, by sharing my words, by working with me directly & indirectly, by telling others about your experience working with me... I consider all of it supportive.
Since my practice has grown mostly through word-of-mouth, I decided to implement a referral incentive.
Here's how it works → If you share about my work with someone and they book a session (and tell me you sent them), you'll receive a 15% off link to book your next session. After they complete their first EPT™ session with me, I send a 15% off code to use for their next session.
(The 15% off applies to single session bookings only, as the 7 Session Package already offers a discount!)
Lastly, a 40 Day Gratitude Practice — to Help you Stay Slow and Steady
Also, I've started a 40 Day Gratitude Practice that my pal + Heart Path partner, Katy is hosting over on her substack. If you're interested in joining us, you can check it out here. Or simply get the book that it's modeled after and do it solo — whatever floats your boat!
In honor of your true pace,
Beth
